Various Types of Communication

Communication is a buzz word in business arena.  Good communication skill is very much necessary in corporate world. Usually in corporate dealings you have to face different types of people from local to international, male or female, top executives to lower level employee and so on. Usually four types of communication are available in our daily life. Let’s know more about communication.

Verbal communication
It comes from sound, words, language, speaking and gesture. Verbal communication is implemented by email, fax, phone, letter, body language etc. Verbal communication is very important in business communication. In business you have to face different age, race, and gender and status people.

Non-Verbal Communication
Non-verbal communication means physical movement such as voice, touch, smell and body gesture. Singing, music, dancing and sculpturing are the good examples of non verbal communication.  Body gestures, symbols and sign are also non verbal communication. Physical movement such as shoving, pushing, shaking hands and touching are also non verbal communication.

Written Communication
written communication is widely used in business world.  One of the advantages of written communication is it is very clear and obvious to express your feeling and expectation. In addition it can be rewrite or amended very easily. Besides business purpose it also very popular in personal communication like text sms and personal letter.

Visual communication
Visual communication usually displays information through different ways like photography, topography, different signs, symbols and designs.  Some good examples of visual communications are television, video presentations, art and design.
